Someone was concerned that this thread should be closed so I did close part 1 .

There are still a number of folks who have yet to mail out their cards, so we should have a busy couple of weeks.

We received Bryan's package today.

One of Donna's favorite places to visit. She's been bugging me to take the family there over the holidays and now Bryan has added fuel to the fire. Hmmm....now I'm thinking an 8 1/2 hour drive and oodles of $$$$ for a place to stay aren't sounding too bad.......

I received Bryan's nice packet today. I have not had a chance to visit there but it sure looks like a fun place to stay.

I'm surprised the mail was able to be delivered today. We've had about 24" of snow the past 24 hours. eek Yuck! Time to plan another trip. laugh

Brian's card and write-up arrived yesterday. Nice card and a great enclosure. Thanks! smile
Maybe if I practice I can do one of those (instead of just scarfing up a bunch of brochures)!

Lorie, maybe you should change the name of your town from Sandy to Snowy???? eek

Was up at Eagle Bluff yesterday...far from being very beautiful, dark gray and extremely windy. It is also very brown. Not a whole lot of snow anywhere up here... Lorie, feel free to send some snow our way, I want to go take some pics of the lights from the water, and we are going to need some cold to get out there...

Snow Camp - NC
Snow Lake AR
Snow Shoe PA
Snows Hill TN GA
Snow Corner ME
Snows Corner FL WI
Snow Junction SC
Snow Settlement ME
Snow Spings GA
Snow Spring GA
Snow Town SC
Snows Mills PA

Do I feel a game coming on here? Check it out here Name Game

I didn't see one "snow" city name for Utah. Like Sue said...I should change our city name from Sandy to "Snowy".

We've had 3 feet of snow at our house the last four days with more to come. frown

Recieved cards from Terry and Larry today.

I've seen the light that Larry send but didn't pick up a card when I was in the area so that was a nice addition today.

And I love the before and after cards from Terry. Great idea!

Geez, SHirin must get her mail about the same time we do! Also received cards from Larry & Terry. Terry gave us a real nice set of views of the light she chose - very neat way of doing things.

The other Larry (that's me) just finished stuffing, labeling and stamping his envelopes. They will be in the mail tomorrow.

Not everyone will receive the same card. They are all of the same subject, but there are twelve different cards sent to the twenty-four recipients in this exchange.

Wel, Larry, you know the rules - the Forum Moderator should be receiving a sample of every card sent out . . . . . . .

I received JoAnn's card today. I believe this is the first time this light has been used in any of the exchanges I have participated in.

Cards going out tomorrow! Phew! Finally! laugh

Marblehead, Mass. Lighthouse, you will always have a very special place in our hearts. ....We've made the journey as far south as New Jersey, as far north as Canada. Over 100 lighthouses visited.... and so many more to go.

Hi All,
Just a quick note to let you all know that my envelope will be very late because of a broken water pipe eek in the attic. The envelopes were almost finished but are now in a box in a storage pod on the front lawn. When my house is livable again I will get them out quickly.
Judy smile (still smiling despite everything)

Sorry for the delay - it will never happen again!

Received Randy's card today. New view of a light we have seen cards from previously. Interestingly, his normal card mailed at the same time did not show up.

Normal card? Is Randy a normal type guy? Could have fooled me. wink

Hopefully when his cards arrive here the mailbox won't be frozen shut. After a low here last night of -16 we rose all the way up to a high of -2 and now it's headed downward again. frown

Mombo--

Kick the wind up to 20 mph and it will be like sitting on the bluff overlooking Lake Superior at Split Rock...

Of course all things considered I'd rather be in Key West smile

We've now had 44 consecutive hours of 0 or below, currently -3. God only knows what the wind chill is but the wind's supposed to increase tonight. Think I'll save Split Rock for another time! wink

Randy's offering for this exchange arrived today, thanks! smile

Randy's cards (one in an envelope and one not) arrived today and the extras! Nice cards and brochures. I hope to visit St. Augustine in 2005.

I think I forgot to acknowledge Jo Ann's card. I still haven't seen that light despite several trips to Washington. Maybe some day.

Mombo, I'm really glad that really cold air missed Minnesota this time! We don't have much snowcover at the moment, and I didn't cover my roses. We did have a brief cold spell with temperates below zero earlier this month. Keep warm!

Received Tom & Joyce's card today. As I knew it would be, a great card of a very pretty light. Though this light is fairly well known, you don't see too many cards of it.
