We are, again, looking for the name of a lighthouse. We are not even sure if it is a lighthouse. And we think it is in Spain. Can anyone help?

I have beeen doing some image searches and have not found this lighthouse. I've found a site with a lot of images of Portuguese lighthouses Portuguese lighthouses Some of which look a little like it - this one is Porto de Aveiro, but the base is not quite the same - still, since it is a drawing and not a photo, artistic license may have been taken I looked at Spanish lighthouses first Spanish Lighthouse pictures And I also tried looked for aerograms and stamps, but I kept getting into eBay where the pictures don't come up until you go through several steps, so I bagged it. Hmm it does look like a lighthouse, but it also looks like the corner lookout of a fort.
Todays events are tomorrow's history.

I think the corner lookout of a fort would be better fortified than that. To vulnerable up there. Of course it could be a lighthouse on the corner of a fort like El Moro is for instance.

I suppose a whaling tower could be a lookout for whales?
I've heard of a wailing wall (for weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth), but not a wailing tower. Is there such a thing?

An interesting and unusual airport signal tower for sure. FWIW, the tower next to a Mosque and used by the muezzin to call Moslems to prayer is called a Minaret .

Porto de Aveiro is the Port of Averio. It is on the northern coast of Portugual This is titled (translated from Portugese) "Gallant sail-boat in the Bar of Aveiro"

The call to prayer is sounded from a minaret (I had to look the name up). I once mistook the Sir. Christpher Wren monument built after the great London Fire for a a minaret. And it makes more sense that it is a airport signal tower when you look at it - no light chamber (or whatever you call that transparent part at the top of the lighthouse).
