Hey Mark -

I got this E-mail from some Vladimir Solvyov fella. Sez you're supposed to call him at his office in Baikonur. Something about your bid on that Russkie space station ? What's up with that?

Does this have anything to do with your clearing brush the other day? And what are those Latvians doing in the oil house? And where is Umberto Eco when you *really* need him - I thought we paid him in advance.

Rgds,
Saint Kahoutek

Those "Swords of Light Being" tied in with the Masons in Latvia, Tim? I thought 33rd degree was as high as a Mason could go in the Blue Lodge.

Hey Tim -

I saw the Mir at the Wisconsin Dells on CNBC last night. Was that you I saw hiding in the corner eating a donut?

I was hoping it would hit the Taco Bell target. I was looking forward to the free food.

I liked the headline in the Scottsdale Progress this morning:

Mir Rubble

>>I saw the Mir at the Wisconsin Dells on CNBC last night. <<

That would be the Tommy Bartlett Robot World, Exploratorium and Water Ski show - now with Mir attraction. The Mir is the real thing. The Dells is a wacky place. Several huge water parks, miniature golf courses, a street lined with shops selling T-shirts and 'your photo in 19th Century clothes' kinda stuff. Kinda like if Ma and Pa built a 6 Flags on a limited budget. Then there are the Dells themselves which have a natural beauty - you can tour them in World War II amphibious vehicles called 'Ducks'. Absolutely packed with kids and people from Chicago in the Summer. They actually have to bring over people from foreign countries to staff the place because they can't find enough local employees.'Bout an hour away to the North. Its wacky.

This will give you an idea
