We're going up to the depot on Saturday (we were just there last week, too! They are just too close!). And we were going to pick up a Harbour Lights Fresnel the 3rd order drum, which is at a limited availability. This would be the first Harbour Lights fresnel for us, and I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on their lenses. Maybe some of you have them. They look just beautiful! Thanks for your words of wisdom! wink

Marblehead, Mass. Lighthouse, you will always have a very special place in our hearts. ....We've made the journey as far south as New Jersey, as far north as Canada. Over 100 lighthouses visited.... and so many more to go.

Some of the models look pretty accurate. Others do not really compare to the original

All the lenses are nice but the latest ones seem to be better.

Get it Roxie! The 3rd order lens is my favorite of the 4. When you light it up and stand back a ways at eye level to it you will see a brilliant vertical light, awesome. Can't really recall the light from the newest lens as I turned it on, looked at it and walked away to do some other things. Next I noticed the batteries were dead and I haven't replaced them yet. Turn these on only for short periods at a time unless you enjoy changing batteries often.
