These are New Point Loma    I wanted to go back for one more morning but after that day there was fog 3 days in a row till we drove north. I was lucky it cleared up on the first day

Wow - Old Point Loma has sure changed since I was there last. Great new look.
Fran, great photos of both OPL and NPL. Thanks for bringing back memories of my many visits to those two lights.

Yes OPL has changed. They rebuilt one of the old buildings to house the lens from the NPL, when that had to be removed due to the dire state of the tower of the new lighthouse. And what a great display that makes!!!!
And they rebuilt the water catchment area etc. too.
And there is a rumour, they are replanting the kitchen garden etc.
Three cheers for the Cabrillo National Monument for puttting so much effort into this lighthouse!

Beautiful pictures, Fran! Makes me want to go back. Old Point Loma sure looks different than it did when I was there. Then it was all fenced off and they were working on it. Sometimes I have a tug-of-war going on in my head. Wanting to go back to see some I have already seen, and wanting to see all the ones I haven't seen! Too many lights and not enough time!
