John and I were in Hawaii last week and here is a few pictures from Kauai and Oahu. This is the Nawiliwili Point lighthouse in Lihue, Kauai. It is located right next to the airport and also next to a golf course.  We have seen the Diamond Head lighthouse from the street but decided to take a sailboat cruise with our friends around Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. Diamond Head lighthouse still has an active 3rd order Fresnel lens.    We have never driven out to Barbers Point when we have been in Honolulu so we decided to take a drive one afternoon to find this lighthouse. It is located in an industrial area. It's not the prettiest of areas but the shot from the beach makes for a nice picture.

Nice trip, Lorie, and beautiful pictures. I think it's great that everybody shares their wonderful pictures. Some of us rarely get to see lighthouses, so it is really nice to see them through the pictures of the CF members.

Great pictures Lorie. Fantastic scenery, even in the industrial area. Makes one get the itchies to get out there and see all of that up close. Thanks for sharing.

Lorie, it looks like you are doing a pretty fantastic job with the camera you have now. The shots of the lens are especially impressive.

Lorie,
Beautiful photos. They make me want to go back to Hawaii again sometime soon. Your photo of Diamond Head is the first photo I've seen taken from a boat. I didn't have a chance to go to the other lights that you posted. That sailboat photo is very colorful, and I love the photo of Barbers Point.
