This is the perfect opportunity for the National Lighthouse Museum when it gets rolling. The Staten Island Ferry can get you by a few.

The NJ Lighthouse Society did a boat tour of the NY Harbor Lighghouses several years ago.
They did two bus tours of the Staten Island Lighthouses last year and there was some hope that a boat tour of the Harbor Lights would be done in the Spring of 2005.
Unfortunately it will not happen. Hopefully in the Fall of 2005 or Spring of 2006 we can get one in the works.
Mike who put together the Staten Island tours is working on the logistics of the Harbor Cruise. It's not as simple as hey let's get a boat and go see some Lighghouses, unfortunately.

I would sign up for a boat tour if it was available. Im sure it is not an easy task to arrage the boats. I have been on the SI ferry many times. Thanks
